Web Hunter is a quick and easy way to collect and save a desired list of websites from search engines. And only the links you want -- not the hundreds of extraneous links on search engine pages. It''s "search-engine-sensitive." It knows how to properly "lift" links from search engine directory listings, or search results page. You can quickly collect lists of the websites you want. Simple concept: Without Web Hunter, if you try to collect links from the results of a search in (say) Yahoo, not only do you get lots of extraneous links, but each of the links you do get will be oddly formatted. With Web Hunter, you "lift" only the website links you want, and they are all formatted in the standard, Internet way.On each page of search results in any search engine, you will find the following:1) A header section with many ads and many links directing you to other places within the search engine.2) A list of links -- the ones you have searched for.3) A footer section with more ads and more extraneous links.Web Hunter extracts and saves only part 2 -- the links you want. And ignores the rest.Simplicity and ease is what it''s all about. Here''s a general overview:You start by choosing which search engine you want to use. Then you search for the results you want -- by looking at their directory listings, or a search results page. When you have found the websites you want, you push the Links Button. And voila! You will see the list of your links (without any extraneous links.) But that is just the beginning... you can then add or remove links from that list, and then append those links to the main list you are collecting. After visiting several results pages, or maybe several search engines, you will end up with a comprehensive list of exactly the sites you want to work with. Quick -- and easy!
