Web Wheels© (an internet browser for kids) is our first product offering. It allows children to explore the internet with guidance from Mom and Dad. We know that all parents want to protect their kids from on-line dangers, but also provide some freedom for them to explore and learn on their own. How do your kids use the internet? Are you, as a parent, always typing for your kids, and getting interrupted to do things for them? What if your child could open a program, select a user by seeing a picture of themselves, and then start exploring parent controlled websites listed on their Web Wheels© homepage. Imagine a simplified way for your child to learn some basic computer skills required for using a web browser. Web Wheels© has an interface that is easily navigated by young children with buttons for Home, Back, Forward and Close Program. Web Wheels© does not have an address bar for children to type in internet addresses. Parents control the list of web-sites available to their children. This restricts on-line access and allows children to visit only the websites that a parent selects. No more book marking a slew of web pages and trying to explain to your child that these web sites are okay to visit. For families with more than one child, each child can have their own "Web Wheels© user" with parent controlled, age appropriate websites for them to visit and explore. And for parents the Web Wheels© configuration utility is easy to operate. Our Help page has step-by-step instructions for using the configuration utility that will have you off and running in minutes. The internet offers many educational web-sites for both pre-school and elementary aged children. These web-sites are a great way for kids to begin developing basic computer skills. Web Wheels© is the tool parents need to provide controlled access to these educational sites.
