EXE for JAVA is one solution to a heavily debated problem amongst amateur and professional Java software Developers. EXE for Java meets the needs of the average user by generating simple "batch like" executables for general java applications, suitable for most Windows operating environments.EXE for Java however does not provide a completely standalone, native, Java executable. A Java Runtime Environment is required to launch the application. With the ability to neatly package a multitude of system files (*.class, etc.) into a single JAR archive, it can generate a suitable Launching application to match this favourable deployment method. EXE for java is a strong effort to enhance the distribution of smaller development projects in a most attractive way. Although EXE for Java, is only suitable for Microsoft Windows operating systems, the multiplatform functionality of Java is not diminished. As an easy tool to package your application in JAR format, the final product is functional on any java capable environment. Jar packaging, and Manifest information is another problem many beginner Java developers face. This early release, EXE for Java - V1.2, is by no means intended as a complete deployment solution. It is however a demonstration of a convenient method to distribute and exhibit your own Java creations. A future version will incorporate the functionality to build quick and easy Windows installers, which may automatically bundle the Java Runtime Environment with the host software.
