LanConference is local area network (LAN) communication utility. This user-friendly application allows you to chat with your friends and co-workers in real-time as well as send quick messages to other users on your network. LanConference does not require an Internet connection or a dedicated server. It operates using TCP/IP and UDP network protocols.Communication is based on the ''chat-room'' concept, however you can also chat person-to-person in secure password-protected private conference rooms. Since all messages and conversations are encrypted, LanConference is a suitable tool for inter-office communication. Use it to send quick messages, questions, announcements and reminders to your employees and co-workers. In addition, LanConference gives you an overview of your team, allowing you to see who is online and active at their computer. The software is very easy to use and requires no configuration.
