Red 5 Chat is a tool for real-time messaging and chatting in the local network in Misrosoft Windows 95/98/NT/2000. This unique chat software features an easy-to-understand format for text-based conferences and discussions. Doesn''t requite dedicated server and internet connection! Incredible, but the feature-packed Red 5 Chat does not require a dedicated server! Using broadcast datagrams, Red 5 Chat keeps a common "channels infrastructure" for all network users and does not restrict users already present in the channels. Therefore, Red 5 Chat fits into any network scenario without additional investments into server hardware or software. Abilities: "Main channel" - this channel is available for all users. Everybody can write message in this chat. "Private chat" - possibility to create chat with other user. This chat will be accessible only for these two users. "Public channels" - possibility to create channel for discussing or chatting. It''s possible to set name of line and password for joining to it. So only users that will know password will be able to join to such line. "Private messages" - possibility to send private message for user.
