CONTORT merges whole or part of your favorite pictures. For example you can insert that missing relative in the family group without any cut and paste boundary edges visible. Any part of an image can be merged with any part of another image with easy preview alignmentmethods. Whole images can be merged with optional methods such as brightest/darkest areas sent to a ''destination'' window. Note that this destination window can be re-merged with other images. This recursion technique leads to interesting effects such as image echoing if the image is scrolled slightly each time it is merged back in. The issues are deceptively simple and the best way to understand CONTORT here is to experiment with the various options during merging and sending back to the ''source''.Contort can also create surreal effects such as warping by exploding, imploding, nudging and twisting any part of the picture. Try it with a close-up portrait of a friend or family!!!. Other features include color blushing, inverse brightness, convert to gray scale, rotation, pencil draw effect, blurring, sharpening, edging, embossing, pixel scattering of the image. A paintbrush can be setup which will ''paint'' in one of the images as an overlay to another image. This feature is not the same as ''portion'' merging as mentioned above..CONTORT can load and save images in the following formats: BMP, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TGA and PCX.Windows clipboard supported with the usual ctrl c/ctrl v shortcut keys. Easy help file system where any number of topics can be opened and remain open until closed at any time. Full install and uninstall is available.Note that for the unregistered version file save and copying to the clipboard is disabled.Once CONTORT is purchased the user is entitled to free upgrades for the entire life of the CONTORT project, the only constraint is that the user emails the registration code back in order to receive the next upgrade regstration code..
