Word on Word 2.3 is an ingenious, fast crossword game.This endless crossword consists of seven vertical channels with room for 49 pieces, each carrying a letter. The purpose of the game is to construct the longest possible words from letters selected at random. Words can be created both vertically and horizontally. A two-letter word is worth four points (2 x 2), a three-letter word is worth nine points (3 x 3), etc., up to a maximum of 49 points (7 x 7). When you start Word on Word, you are allocated five randomly selected letters, and you can place them in any position on the bottom row to build the longest possible word. Until a sixth piece is selected, these five letters can be moved to any position, allowing spaces for new letters to fit in to create the best possible word(s). Once the sixth piece has been selected, no piece that has already been placed can be moved. The player can use the joker once during a game--it represents any letter of the player''s choice. Every piece can be used once horizontally and once vertically. All words except proper nouns are allowed. The words should be used in their basic form.
