VidiSoft (tm) VidiDrives version 1.0.0.6VidiSoft is a registered Trademark of VidiPlus S.A.This is a freeware application. Distribute freely, but do not take any money from its distribution.History-------26 September 2001: Long time since the first version, but now i''ve got the first suggestion from Jay Freeman !!! Thanks Jay, the scroll velocity corrected.16 April 2001: No History, since this is the first version of the utility. Please report any bugs to vidisoft@netone.grDescription-----------Usage: Right click on the tray icon to see availale drives and any command options. Double click on the tray icon to open the options dialog. That''s All :-)VidiDrives is a small utility that helps the fast and easy access of any drive or folder of our windows system. It is a tray icon application that does a simple think... When it is right clicked, shows a menu of all the available drives and it''s folders. Each Folder can have some extra icons (in this version only three) that give us some control over the folders. The Command Prompt Here Icon: Opens a command prompt in the specified folder. The Open Folder icon: It does as it says, opens the folder using the windows explorer. The Drive Info Icon: Display some information about the crrect drive. You can use the options dialog to set if you like these icons to be added in your folders or not. You can even customize the command to call for each of these icons. eg. Windows 95 use "command" for displaying a shell, Winows NT and Windows 2000 use "cmd" to display a shell (command prompt). The application is set to run correctly on a windows 2000 system (since this is my developing platform). For faster loading of the main menu, you can exclude any floppy drives from the scan process. To do this, deselect them from the Scan Drives list found in the options dialog. Thanks for testing my application, I hope you find it usefull as I did !!!Fotis PappasR&D ManagerVidiPlus S.A.
